There were quite a few questioning the choice of Linkin Park as a headliner going into Rock on the Range this year. It didn’t take after hitting the stage for the guys to remind people why they were chosen. After opening with “Papercut”, the band continued to reel the fans in with classic LP hit after classic hit. Chester Bennington and Mike Shiboda were grinning through almost the entire performance and appeared to be having a blast on stage. There were a couple of song selections that seemed to lose the crowd a little bit, but they quickly reeled them back in with the next song performed. The huge crowd gathered seemed to be engaged for the entire performance with very few heading towards the exit doors early.
