Ernie Ball is proud to announce they have chosen The Reality Of Yourself (T.R.O.Y) as the official winner of the Uproar Tour Battle of the Bands. This achievement clinches the band a spot on the Uproar tour consisting of nearly 30 dates & over 20,000 miles of black top. Along with a chance to tour across North America, T.R.O.Y has received an endorsement deal through Ernie Ball Music Man. The band plans to release their brand new E.P. “Two Worlds” before hitting the road, with their latest single “Revolution” hitting airwaves today. We were given an advance listen to “Revolution” and it’s been stuck on repeat ever since. The big riffs are there, the thunderous drums are there, the power of (Cord) Bishop’s vocals are as strong as ever and it’s a damn catchy and infectious tune.
T.R.O.Y is originally from Springfield, MO and has drawn much attention over the last several years winning contests & playing shows with great artists such as Korn, Nothing More and Papa Roach just to name a few. The band is eager to represent Missouri and rock n rollers throughout the United States, and plans to jump start the Rockstar Uproar tour with a very special event in their hometown. The Evolution of T.R.O.Y will be a series of shows that aims to celebrate the band’s past and their future as they dive into this thrilling experience.
Uproar 2014 included some of the biggest names in rock including Godsmack, Seether, Skillet and many more. We caught up with T.R.O.Y & asked how they felt about the experience and here is what they had to say; “We are beyond grateful at this point. It is just an absolute honor to be chosen by Ernie Ball, and a privilege to be able to share the stage with some of the most influential rockers of our time. We are forever humbled by our fans and their support.” – Cord/Lead Singer
2015 Uproar Tour dates, complete line-up, and more details are to be announced in the near future.
T.R.O.Y (short for The Reality Of Yourself) is an American Rock band that formed late 2004 in the small town of Pleasant Hope, MO. Today the band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Cord Bishop, bassist Kane Ransom, guitarist Kyle Girth, and drummer Erik Milan. T.R.O.Y’s moniker is inspired by the bands musical perception, and the notion that thought truly manifests reality. Their music is available on CDbaby and Itunes as well as other streaming services like Spotify. You can keep up to date with the guys at their website or on Twitter and Facebook.
