Frank Hannon releases his new solo cover song project From One Place… to Another Vol. 1 today, available now on CD, digital download and across streaming platforms. Glide Magazine calls the album, “A delightfully fun recording that will have you singing along from the opening track to the last.” The Tesla guitarist is sharing the lyric video for his interpretation of The Church’s “Under The Milky Way” to celebrate the release.
Frank recorded the majority of the songs while on tour with TESLA in dressing rooms, hotels, buses and even bathrooms using a handheld recorder, then bringing home the digital files to mix and embellish in my studio. “I also went to friends’ houses with this recorder to capture performances as well as collaborated and traded files over the internet,” he says.
The first single released for Pledge Music’s pre-order campaign earlier this month wasFrank Hannon’s version of the Allman Bros classic “Blue Sky” written by Dickey Betts, and the song created a lot of positive excitement for the project. Click HERE to view and share the “Blue Sky” lyric video.
