Fellow Robot Release Atmospheric Track “Golden Man”

Fellow Robot have just released yet another glimpse into the forthcoming release of The Robot’s Guide to Music Vol. 2, via the atmospheric “Golden Man.” The track, which premiered on Surviving the Golden Age, is an atmospheric romp about keeping your chin up through a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Surviving the Golden Age called the track “pure euphoria.”

The band had this to say about the track: “Golden Man was written and recorded with my son, Desmond, on my lap as the world around us went crazy. This song was written as a reminder to myself that even in the worst of times there is always something to be grateful for. No matter how shitty and pessimistic we feel about the climate around us, everything we need isn’t far from reach.”

Fellow Robot released their debut album The Robot’s Guide to Music Vol. 1 earlier in the year, and have recently partnered with Seattle imprint Donut Sounds to release the album on vinyl. The band celebrated the vinyl release with a packed show at Fingerprints in Long Beach. Fans can order The Robot’s Guide to Music Vol. 1 on vinyl here.

The follow-up album, The Robot’s Guide to Music Vol. 2 is expected to see an early 2019 release and will feature the recently released “Cemetery Song” and “Golden Man,” among others. To stay current with all things Fellow Robot be sure to follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
