Hellyeah Unleash New Song + Announce New Album Recorded With Vinnie Paul

It looks like Hellyeah have settled on a release date for their forthcoming sixth studio album. It is the last recorded with drummer and founding member Vinnie Paul, who died at the age of 54 last year. A new song will be released today (March 14) as well.

As shown on the band’s official online store, the upcoming release — which remains untitled as of this posting— is due out this summer. More specifically, it’s now available for pre-order, and bears a stated release date of June 28.

However, the listing does include the following note: “New album designs, and details will be coming soon. Release date for new album related items is subject to change. The new album is slated for a summer 2019 release.”

Last month, Hellyeah asked fans for help with the artwork of the imminent effort, seeking candid photos of Paul to presumably include in the package. “We want you to be a part of our upcoming album art!” they said at the time.

The band recently announced a special, one-night-only show to celebrate the life and legacy of the late drummer. It’s scheduled for Saturday, May 11, at the House of Blues in Las Vegas. Get tickets and more info here.
